Exodus 12:21-23

²¹ Then ^(A)Moses called for all the elders of Israel and said to them, “^[a]Bring out and ^(B)take for yourselves ^[b]lambs according to your families and slaughter ^(C)the Passover lamb. ^22 (D)And you shall take a bunch of hyssop and dip it in the blood which is in the basin, and ^[c]touch some of the blood that is in the basin to the lintel and the two doorposts; and none of you shall go outside the doorway of his house until morning. ²³ And ^(E)Yahweh will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and He will see the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, and Yahweh will pass over the doorway and will ^(F)not allow the ^(G)destroyer to come into your houses to smite you.
